What is this? The Haunt at Wildcliff Mansion is a walk-through-style haunted house attraction produced by Tailored to Fear, LLC, in conjunction with the Hudson Park Children's Greenhouse.
-
Is the event outdoors?Yes, we are almost entirely outdoors. Please be advised that due to our location, areas of the haunt are on grass and may have uneven terrain. Dress accordingly.
-
Is it scary? You poor thing. We couldn't possibly be trying to SCARE you. In all seriousness, yes. The Haunt at Wildcliff Mansion is a dark attraction designed with the intention to scare visitors. You may experience complete darkness, loud/startling sounds, fog and strobe effects, live actors, and claustrophobia.
-
How long does it take to walk through? It varies depending on how scared your group is and how slowly/quickly that allows you to go through the haunt. A well paced journey through the haunt takes about 20 minutes.
-
Will the actors touch us?No. We have a strict no-contact policy. That goes for our actors and for our patrons. If you intentionally touch one of our actors, you will be immediately removed from the attraction without a refund. Due to the dark nature of the attraction, it is possible that an actor may brush against you by accident. Touch nothing and nothing will touch you.
-
Is there parking?Yes! There is plenty of FREE parking located in Hudson Park.
-
Can I scare people at the haunt? We are always looking to add members to our talented cast! Please fill out the form here if you are interested in joining our team! Please be advised, Hudson Park Children's Greenhouse is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. At this time, all positions for the haunt are volunteer. We are happy to provide students with community service hours.
-
How many people can go in together? For safety reasons, and to ensure everyone has a good experience in the haunt, we limit groups to six people. No exceptions. If you come in a group larger than six, you will be broken up. If your group is smaller, you may be grouped with other guests on our busier nights.
-
Can we buy tickets on site or only online?Tickets can be purchased both online and at the door. However, we recommend purchasing online to guarantee your entree on any given night. If we sell out online, we may not be able to accommodate more people at the door.
-
Is there food available?Yes! Each night we bring in local food trucks. They will be located in our midway to enjoy before or after you go through the haunt.
-
Are there restrooms?Yes.
-
Are we allowed to take pictures? No pictures or video are allowed inside the haunt. You are welcome to take and share photos in the midway and queue. Some of our characters will be roaming around for you to take photos with. Be sure to tag us!
-
Is the haunt handicap accessible?Due to the outdoor terrain, wheelchair access could be very difficult. We are considered a seasonal amusement device, therefore our event is not required to be ADA compliant in the state of New York. An average sized wheelchair can navigate through the haunt with someone pushing it, but absolutely no motorized or oversized wheelchairs are allowed. Please speak to our staff before getting in line if you would like to go through with a wheelchair, and we will do our best to assist you.
-
What if I get too scared? If at any point you feel that the haunt is too scary, please alert the nearest actor or staff member of your desire to leave, and you will be escorted to the exit where you can wait for the rest of your group. Please do not go through an emergency exit and attempt to find your way out on your own.
-
Can I get a refund if I am too scared to finish the haunt?Imagine hiring a plumber to fix your sink and then asking him for a refund because he properly fixed it. Sounds crazy, right? By purchasing a ticket, you are asking to be scared. If you are too scared to complete the haunt, that means we did our jobs correctly. There are absolutely no refunds. No exceptions.
